Enterprise Systems, Software Products, Software Applications , Processes, Data and Devices are multiplying so as the complexity of integration. Heterogeneous integrations make it even more complicated and time consuming to integrate with each other.
Our customers have always been showing intent concerns around Integrations. As we are going through the Digital Transformation, integration is even more relevant and important. We have been discussing the systems of integration with our customers. Definitely everybody needs an integration system but we wanted to focus specifically about the characteristics of the integration solutions. We spoke some of our customers, discussing the approach to solve integration pain points. Below are a few characteristics which came out of our discussions :
Breadth of the integrated offerings to be able to integrate with kinds of systems easily with less of custom codes and more of the configurations. What it really means is ready connectors for commonly used systems no matter the deployment style be it on-premise, cloud or SaaS
Microsoft Azure being our choice of cloud and digital platform of future, we realized that Logic Apps seems to fit the bill. Logic Apps has recently been made Generally Available so we started going deeper into it. At the same time, assisting couple of customers, design their integration solutions using Logic Apps.

Huge set of ready connectors available to get started integration NOW. To name a few connectors – Box, DropBox, Azure Media Services, QuickBooks, SalesForce, SAP, Oracle, Sugar CRM and the list goes on and on. Less to no code integration approach more of the designer approach for rapid way of developing integration processes
Out of box support for popular SaaS and on-premises apps with ready to use templates
Extensiblity by being able to add our custom connectors for our custom applications through APIs
This opens the door for possibilities for a larger set of integration around Communication, Orchestration, Validation, Data Transformation etc.
One of our customers would like to use Logic Apps to connect their on-premise inventory management systems with their digital catalog being hosted on Microsoft Azure. We are really excited and looking forward for Logic Apps to take off as its logo indicates, Rocket!
